I’m thrilled finally to be sharing the news that I have a new book on the horizon, The Premonitions Club! The story is a YA thriller and will being coming out in 2025 with CamCat Books.
About the book:
After her beloved grandfather passes away, Liv Hall and her friends find boxes of old letters hidden away in his attic. The letters are psychic predictions addressed to the Premonitions Bureau, a bureau that existed until 1993 tracking people’s would-be premonitions. As the motley crew reads premonitions written by psychics from decades’ past, they stumble upon letters no one was ever supposed to find. They also soon discover the letters are hiding long-buried secrets that put them all at risk. A covert black ops group in charge of the military’s secret paranormal research will do anything to get their hands on the letters and the psychics who wrote them. Liv and her friends now know too much, and they’re directly in the crosshairs. If they’re going to survive, they’re going to have to rely on some decades-old documents, each other, and the unlikely assistance of a group of people—who thought they’d left the dangers of the Bureau behind forever.
The inspiration for this story happened years ago when I was writing The Fortune Teller and discovered that an actual real Premonitions Bureau existed from 1968-1993 that collected psychic predictions. I immediately envisioned the old letters hidden away in an attic and a group of teenagers finding them. The story grew from there. I’m excited to be debuting my first book for high school readers. I also think adult readers who’ve enjoyed my previous books will enjoy this one too.
